In compliance with the provisions of Article 10, Law 34/2002 of 11 July, regulating the Information Society Services and Electronic Commerce, Sylentis, S.A., sociedad unipersonal (hereinafter, “Sylentis”), a Spanish corporation, hereby informs of the following facts:

DATA PROTECTION POLICY

SYLENTIS, a member of the Zeltia Group, hereby informs users of this web site of its Personal Data Protection Policy so that they may decide freely whether or not they wish to provide any personal data requested of them on this web site.

SYLENTIS reserves the right to amend its Personal Data Protection Policy at its discretion due to changes in law, legal precedent or business practices. Such amendments will be posted on this site, and SYLENTIS will provide the necessary resources for users to read them. In any event, relations with users will be governed by the specific regulations in force at the time of access to the web site.

The submission of the forms contained on this site implies express and unequivocal consent by the user to the automated processing of information of a personal nature according to the terms of this policy statement.

b) Purpose of data collection and processing

- In the case of data provided through the employment application form: the creation of a database of candidates to facilitate personnel selection by Sylentis.
- In the case of data provided through “licensing and distributing”: the use of such data to contact with potential distributors, technology partners or customers.
- In the case of bulletin. Sending bulletins to subscribers.

c) Recipients of the information and transfers of data

Submission of the forms found at this web site implies the express consent by the user of the transfer of the personal information contained in the automated file to companies of the Zeltia Group, as the same intents as Sylentis. For the purposes of this Personal Data Protection Policy, the companies listed in the section of this web site entitled “Our Group” are considered to be Zeltia Group Companies:

- Pharmamar, S.A.U.: Research and Development about natural sciences and techniques.
- Proteccion de Maderas, S.A.U.: finished buildings and works.
- Genomica, S.A.U.: Paternity and maternity assays, and genetic fingerprinting.
- Xylazel, S.A.: manufacture of paints, varnishes and similar coatings.
- Zelnova, S.A.: manufacture of pesticides and other agrochemical products.
- Zeltia, S.A.: management of holding companies.

The fields marked with an asterisk on forms are obligatory and are considered necessary to provide the service requested. Accordingly, if all the necessary fields are not completed, it won’t be possible to provide the user with the service offered by the site.

In the fields not marked by an asterisk, responses to questions about personal information are voluntary and the absence of an answer will not impair the quality or amount of the services offered.

f) Use of cookies

SYLENTIS hereby notifies users that cookies are used when the user browses screens and pages on the web site.

Cookies are small data files that are generated by the server and installed on the user’s computer. They are used to identify the user session, i.e. to provide persistence of user information, user name and password, in addition to recording the browser used.

The cookies are associated exclusively with the browser of a given computer (anonymous user) and do not per se provide the user’s full name.
